Things to consider before seeking a bid (if you have a set of plans some of this information will be on them):

the ground the slab will be on (what is the difference between
the highest spot and the lowest spot)?
2) What kind of
soil do you have? Rocky or sandy, near a creek?
3) What kind of steel reinforcement do you or the builder want?
4) How
accessible is the site for large concrete trucks?
5) How wide do the beams need to be?
